How does Chipgram work?

[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Chipgram combines the old passing a paper note technology with instant messaging technology.   We use a poker chip labeled with a stock greeting on one side and a unique numeric code on the other, which can be passed to a person of interest, greeting side up. This is the same concept as passing someone a paper note, except; to open the “note”, the recipient visits our website.

That person logs in as a Guest on our default page using the 13-numbers from the chip code.

Note that the chip color on the Guest log in page may not match the Guest’s actual chip color.

The unique code on the chip connects the chip dealer (Member) and the chip recipient (Guest) exclusively with a chat window.

Unlike a paper note, however, Chipgram only requires the initial pass. After that first contact, both parties can correspond online at their leisure through a secure messaging system on our website without a physical presence.

A variety of messages can be set ahead of time on the Member’s chips for common situations.  These messages can be cleared for a custom message on each chip for a recipient if time allows.  The Member can change the chip name from its color to either the actual name of the person, the venue, or whatever name to help identify the conversation.  Guests do not see this alias on their chat window.
