We like to use the paper note analogy to describe the service as a note can be given to someone and passed back and forth without the use of any devices or contact information. So essentially you are buying sets of five notes to give out to people you may be interested in. So, imagine carrying five pieces of paper that you can write a note on one of them and give it to someone you want to talk to privately.
And then that person can respond and pass that note back to you. Today, our devices have replaced paper notes, however, devices require some sort of contact information or accounts on a similar platform to connect. But for someone new, we don’t have that information and it may be inappropriate in many cases to ask for it. If we give out our contact information, we are at the mercy of the other person to connect with us later which could be days or weeks!
We have replaced those paper notes with poker chips. Instead of writing a note, you type a message on our website that one of your poker chips connects to. You can create some generic messages ahead of time as well and replace them with custom messages based on the person and situation. When you hand out a poker chip, you are inviting someone to chat with you using an invitation with a unique code on the labels which connects the two of you. Your five chips are essentially five unique accounts that you have at your disposal to give out to connect with new people. It like having one of the classic instant messaging providers where you have five friends, but your friends do not need to download software, create accounts, or provide any personal information to chat with you as the chip code itself represents an anonymous account.
